Brightpath Educational Support Services

Part-Time Contract Position – Edmonton

Brightpath Educational Support Services is a provider of early childhood intervention with funding provided by Alberta Education through Program Unit Funding (PUF) and Mild/Moderate funding. Brightpath Educational Support Services is an established provider of services to identified children who attend childcare at Brightpath centres throughout Calgary and Edmonton and surrounding areas. The children are supported by a multidisciplinary team consisting of teachers, educational assistants, and therapy professionals (SLP, OT, PT, Psych). Brightpath Educational Support Services is seeking a part-time contract, experienced Registered Psychologist to provide assessment, consultation, and intervention for preschool and kindergarten children in the daycare setting. Responsibilities will include observations, consultation, demonstration, and intervention, as well as providing support and training to parents and staff. Perks include a flexible schedule as well as working with the little ones!

Qualifications:

· Masters in Psychology (preferably Educational/School or Developmental Psychology)

· Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists

· Experience with preschool children with diverse needs

· Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
