Job Summary
The Vice President, U.S. Business Analytics serves as the strategic leader responsible for transforming data into competitive advantage across Incyte's U.S. Commercial organization. As a member of the U.S. Commercial Leadership Team, this executive leads enterprise-wide commercial analytics, forecasting, business intelligence, digital marketing analytics, data and technology platforms, artificial intelligence, and strategic business advisory capabilities supporting Oncology and Immunology.
This role is responsible for enabling faster, smarter commercial decisions through integrated analytics, forecasting, digital capabilities, AI, and enterprise data platforms. The Vice President partners closely with Commercial Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Portfolio Strategy, Finance, Medical Affairs, and Global functions to provide actionable insights that drive commercial performance and successful product launches.
Essential Functions of the Job
• Establish and lead the enterprise Business Analytics strategy for the U.S. Commercial organization, ensuring analytics, forecasting, insights, digital capabilities, data, technology, and artificial intelligence enable superior business performance and support the company's long-term commercial vision.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to Commercial Leadership Team including the EVP, Head of U.S. Commercial , providing actionable insights that shape portfolio strategy, investment decisions, launch planning, resource allocation, and overall commercial execution.
• Lead an integrated Business Analytics Center of Excellence, bringing together commercial insights, forecasting, business intelligence, digital analytics, data management, technology platforms, CRM, and AI into a scalable, high-performing organization that supports Oncology and Immunology.
• Drive enterprise-wide commercial performance by transforming complex data into meaningful business insights, identifying opportunities, risks, and emerging market trends that accelerate growth and improve customer engagement.
• Champion innovation and digital transformation, advancing the use of advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, predictive modeling, and emerging technologies to enhance commercial decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Portfolio Strategy, Medical Affairs, Finance, and Global Commercial leaders to align business priorities, enable cross-functional decision-making, and maximize portfolio performance across all therapeutic areas.
• Lead commercial forecasting and strategic planning capabilities, ensuring accurate demand forecasting, launch readiness, scenario planning, market assessments, and performance measurement to support executive decision-making and long-range business planning.
• Develop and execute the enterprise data and analytics roadmap, establishing best-in-class capabilities in data governance, business intelligence, reporting, CRM, and commercial technology platforms while ensuring data integrity, scalability, and compliance.
• Build, inspire, and develop a world-class leadership team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while attracting, developing, and retaining top analytics and technology talent.
• Represent Business Analytics as a key strategic voice across the enterprise, influencing executive leaders, shaping organizational priorities, and ensuring analytics capabilities evolve to support Incyte's expanding commercial portfolio and future launches.
Qualifications:
Required
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive commercial leadership experience within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, consulting, or related industries.
• Significant experience leading commercial analytics organizations.
• Deep understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical commercialization.
• Experience supporting specialty pharmaceuticals and product launches.
• Demonstrated success leading large cross-functional organizations.
• Experience in forecasting, business intelligence, commercial analytics, and data strategy.
• Strong executive communication and influencing skills.
• Experience leading organizational transformation.
• Proven ability to develop senior leaders and high-performing teams.
