ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY

SUMMARY: Currently seeking a creative, detail-oriented Masters in Biology graduate student to join our research team. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator for the project titled "Translating Biomedical Research into High School Classrooms: A Teacher Immersion Model for Diverse, Workforce-Ready Classrooms."

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):

The student will contribute to a wide range of design projects that support and promote our project including the design of a workshop booklet, instruction workshop participants and analyzing survey data.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be enrolled as a full-time student at Cal Poly Pomona for the Fall 2026 semester

Must be a Masters in Biology graduate student

Must have effective verbal and written communication skills

Has a team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and receive feedback

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience designing materials for workshops (e.g., promotional flyers, advertisements, social media disseminations)

Proficiency in excel and GraphPad

ABOUT US: As the largest employer of students on the Cal Poly Pomona campus, the Foundation offers valuable work experience and hands-on training to approximately 1,500 Cal Poly Pomona students each year.
