Job description

Senior Product Manager

At Epicor, we're building the world's first cognitive ERP, and we're seeking a product leader with a builder's mindset to make it happen. As the Senior Product Manager for Agent Foundry, you'll own the strategy, execution, and go-to-market for agentic AI that can solve customers' hardest problems. You'll work with directly customers to understand the gaps in their operations, and create AI tooling to allow them to build their own agents. The best products are not designed or managed by committee. This role will have real ownership, direct customer access and the mandate to move fast.

You'll be responsible for shaping Epicor's long-term product roadmap for LLMs, agentic AI, and next-generation AI UX by building 0 to 1 products that solve 10x customer problems.

Why is This Role Different?

Agentic AI is dissolving the traditional boundaries between Engineering, UX, Product Management, and Data Science. We're not looking for someone who stays in their lane. We want a product leader that has a deep understanding of machine learning and AI, the empathy to formulate a customer UX, the technical savvy to challenge an engineering trade-off and the passion for building trust with customers. If you are someone whose curiosity and skills cross these boundaries, this could be the role for you.

What you will be doing:

  • Work Backwards from the Customer. Lead forward-deployed engagements to uncover 10x problems. Start with the customer and work backwards from real pain to validated solutions, ideal customer profiles, and compelling value propositions.
  • A Founder's Mindset. Operate like a start-up by taking full responsibility for the Agent Foundry's product strategy, roadmap, pricing model and outcomes.
  • Prototype and Ship Fast. Rapid prototyping of products to get early feedback from stakeholders and customers. Move from insight to artifact in days, not months.
  • Drive Agentic AI Strategy. Define and prioritize which agents we build, how they work, and how they reach market. Stay ahead of trends in LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI UX.
  • Lead Cross-functional Execution. Run cross-functional team meetings across engineering, data science, UX, and marketing. Keep teams aligned and moving with urgency.
  • Define the Roadmap. Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration. Partner with executive leadership to maintain a multi-year AI product roadmap.
  • Own Go-to-Market. Collaborate with Product Marketing on launch plans, beta programs, sales enablement, demos, and reference customer development.
  • Advise and engage customers. Lead customer advisory sessions to validate product direction and ensure the voice of the customer drives every decision.
  • Evaluate pricing and ROI. Develop and refine pricing models grounded in customer value and return on investment analysis.

What you will likely bring:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit. You take ownership, challenge the status quo, and drive relentlessly toward outcomes. You don't wait to be told what to build.
  • AI-native thinking. You understand how LLMs, RAG, agents, and AI-powered software -- deeply enough to engage technical teams, evaluate approaches, and make informed bets.
  • Customer obsession. You've led discovery processes, run user interviews, and built products that started with empathy, not assumptions.
  • Shipping track record. You've launched and scaled technology products, ideally in AI, ML, or related domains. You know what it takes to go from zero to one.
  • Cross-discipline fluency. You're comfortable reviewing technical designs, UX mockups, data evaluations, and engineering trade-offs-and contributing meaningfully to each.
  • Strong communication. You can articulate a product vision to executives, engineers, and customers with equal clarity.
  • Bias toward action. You move fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and course-correct in real time.
  • 5+ years of technical product management experience with a track record of launching, scaling and enhancing software products.
  • 2+ years of experience in the AI domain, demonstrating deep technical and market understanding.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with SaaS and cloud-based platforms.

What will set you apart:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in AI/ML or Computer Science).
  • Basic proficiency in coding like Python, JavaScript or C# - enough to engage with technical teams and validate approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn, SageMaker, AutoML).
  • Experience with prompt engineering, vibe-coding, RAG, and model evaluation.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline concepts.
  • Previous ERP and/or manufacturing, distribution or supply chain experience.
