Job description

JOB TITLE: Research SME - AI Enbaled Circuit Design
LOCATION: Bethesda, Maryland
CLEARANCE: No clearance required to start but prefer TS/SCI with CI Poly.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Attend meetings, workshops, conferences and testing events as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Assist with the development of presentations such as Program Management Reviews.
• Serve as a Liaison between Performers, Test & Evaluation contributors, Government and Transition partners.
• Review, provide analysis, and make recommendations concerning technical reports, data and Performer approaches.
• Select, establish, curate, and maintain collaborative communication, issue tracking, and configuration environments for use by the program.
• Provide reach-back support for program related requirements for systems integration, design, development, modeling and simulation, data analytics and architecture design.
• Examine data sources and literary sources for emerging technology related to the Program.
• Provide technical support and expertise on new concepts beyond the Program but integral to the Program's success.
REQUIRED EXPERTISE:
• Must have current Top Secret/SCI (Tier 5+) with polygraph clearance.
• Bachelors' degree in computer science, applied physics, materials science or relevant engineering fields (i.e., electrical, computer, systems, software) with six plus (6+) years of work experience in one of these fields, or Masters' degree with two plus (2+) years of work experience.
• Four (4) years of experience or equivalent education involving device physics, circuit design, circuit simulation, and/or computer vision.
• Two (2) years of experience or equivalent education with characterization tools (SEM, TEM, AFM, probe stations) and use of test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
• One (1) year of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team.
• Two (2) years of experience creating program plans, work breakdown structures, and milestone schedules.
DESIRED EXPERTISE:
• Masters' degree or PhD in computer science, applied physics, materials science or relevant engineering fields (i.e., electrical, computer, systems, software) with four plus (4+) years of work experience.
• Four (4) years of experience with LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, or Verilog/VHDL.
• Two (2) years of experience with deep learning, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and/or generative models.
• Two (2) years of experience in the Intelligence Community (IC), including experience with requirements, CONOPS, and transition.
• Awareness of supply chain security and trusted microelectronics.
• Four (4) years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary research and development (R&D) or Test and Evaluation (T&E) team.
• One (1) year of experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager.
