Masters in directly related field and 1 year of experience Relevant education must be in an IT discipline related to the assigned program area (e.g., Network Engineering, Network Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer or Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Forensics/Security, etc. Experience: * Required technical knowledge of installing, configuring, repairing, and maintaining software, hardware, configurations, and peripherals; isolating equipment/system/software malfunctions and restoring failed equipment to good working order; conducting operational checks and replacing defective parts and assemblies * Required basic knowledge of networking concepts such as cable making/repair, IP address schema, and LAN implementation and configuration * Some experience in with video teleconferencing systems * Performing Tier I - 3 deskside incident resolution of workstations, printers and peripheral devices *While managing Active Directory, tech will be required to approve systems for reimage/ wipe and move to correct system active OU or system deleted OU (When selected for this function). * Ensuring proper computer system setup/operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks * Maintaining knowledge of diagnostic and help desk request tracking tools, as well as remote and in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level * Assisting with network hardware, servers and software installation, troubleshooting and support * Assisting with Asset Management and Inventory of IT assets * Assisting with security vulnerability remediation * Proficiency with Anti-virus software / configuration * Returning failed equipment to good working order and demonstrating the equipment to the user * Working as a team member in the installation, configuration, repair, and maintenance of computer equipment, peripherals, and applications * Performing repairs and conducting operational checks, and preventive maintenance service on computer systems, related systems, and office equipment * Working with System Administrators to maintain network * Perform other duties as required, which may include: - Accomplishing assigned tasks in closely related fields - Responding to changes in work schedules and/or locations - Supporting other sections on the ITSS contract - Participating in formal, on-the-job, and cross-training
