Quality Assurance Technicians are the quality representatives that provide support for the site Quality Management System. In addition, this position will aid with the site electronic/digital documentation system, Master Control.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform onsite equipment calibrations and certifications
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for outside calibrations and assist with repair/part replacement as needed
- Manage and maintain Simplifi systems
- Serve as a team member on the Safety Committee.
- Serve as backup for MasterControl daily functions.
- Serve as backup for complaint handling.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Specialist in performing investigations and correcting quality related issues. Investigations may require entrance into the clean room if necessary.
- Assist with creating policies, work instructions, and quiz questions for MasterControl documents.
- Collaborate with members of Quality Assurance team on all quality systems.
- Adhere to all applicable procedures, company policies and any other regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- High attention to detail is required
- Computer literacy, including but not limited to, Windows, Office 365 Suites, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as sampling theory and factor analysis.
Working Conditions
- This position requires standing and sitting for extended periods of time including majority of shifts. Walking, kneeling and bending frequently.
- Employees will be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Employees will be required to read small print.
- Employees will be required to complete and pass a visual inspection competency exam proctored internally.
- Employees will be required to perform visual inspection of pharmaceutical containers and products.
- Employees will be required to don Gown and PPE.
- Employees will be required to handle hazardous drugs as outlines in NIOSH, including spill cleanup with proper PPE when required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
