U.S. Army Social Workers use their skills to enhance unit readiness and the well-being of Soldiers and their families

As a social worker for the U.S. Army or Army Reserve, you will provide direct services to help improve the mental well-being of our Soldiers and their families. Your responsibilities may include teaching, training, supervision, research, administration, crisis intervention and policy development in evolving situations where you can put your expertise and passion for others to work. Through this, you will promote unit readiness and emotional well-being of Soldiers, their family members and DA civilians.
