Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support multiple Agile teams in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of SAFe principles, solid understanding of the SDLC, and proven experience partnering with RTEs, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and predictable delivery.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA is$105k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach teams on Agile & SAFe best practices.

  • Partner with RTE, POs, and other Scrum Masters to manage dependencies and support ART-level events.

  • Contribute to Pre-PI Planning, PI Planning, Iteration Planning, and Inspect & Adapt activities.

  • Ensure backlog readiness, sprint execution, and adherence to DoD/DoR.

  • Remove impediments, track team progress, and support continuous improvement.

  • Promote strong collaboration, communication, and transparency across teams.

Requirements:

  • Experienced as a Scrum Master in Scaled Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Strong knowledge ofSAFe processes and ceremonies.

  • Solid understanding ofSDLC and software delivery practices.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience usingJira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.

  • Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)required.
