Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: Facilities Accountant in Finance and Administration.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain financial records for active and completed capital projects, analyze account transactions to ensure proper allocation of funding and expenses, and perform year-end reviews to verify expenditures are properly accrued and capitalized. Utilize AssetWorks Capital Planning and Project Management software to plan, budget, and track facility and infrastructure projects.
• Serve as the departmental liaison for procurement card activities within Facilities Planning and Management. Review transactions for accuracy, upload supporting documentation, and maintain records for audit purposes.
• Initiate, record and monitor blanket purchase orders, purchase orders, and expenditures for capital projects and departmental operations.
• Prepare work order and chargeback files and upload transactions into general ledger. Coordinate information for annual budget development, monitor budget-to-actual results, provide monthly reports to the Facilities Planning and Management Director, and request departmental budget transfers as needed.
Accountant/Fiscal Analyst II (AD22/61121784/FTE-S01188P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Grade: GEN08. Salary range: $45,300.00 (midpoint) - $61,100.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
