Here are Your Responsibilities as a Master Plumber for Mr. Rooter Plumbing

As master plumber, you are a key member of our team. Our customers look to your expertise to help solve their issues and build confidence that their homes and businesses will be safe and that we are taking every measure to resolve plumbing

challenges.

Here are the primary responsibilities for this position:

• You will help customers with various plumbing needs, from installations to repairs. This could range from installing basic fixtures to replacing a home's or business main line. Note: Complex troubleshooting is often involved so experience as a master plumber is a must!

• Your license will be the tied to the operations of this Mr. Rooter location. Which means you would be the face of our Mr. Rooter Plumbing location, interacting with our customers, local city and government and by providing guidance to the up-and-coming interns and journeymen plumbers. This means job security for you and the ability to operate like an owner/manager, without the investments needed to start a business.

• You ensure the safety of both yourself and the people you serve, leaving the worksites safer than when you first walked in. You'll identify and present opportunities and solutions to the customer to ensure the safety of their family and property.

Job Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements for the Master Plumber position.

• Minimum 2 years of prior professional-level Master Plumbing experience.

• Must hold valid Master Plumbers license in our state.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations as well as national and company pluming standards.

• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with owners, customers, regulatory authorities, and direct reports with respect and dignity.

Pay and Benefits

The starting pay range for our Master plumbers is $XX.00 to $XX.00 per hour, depending on your level of experience and involvement in day-to-day operations (these requirements vary by state). Our service professionals are paid a base hourly fee PLUS incentives based on performance, additional work performed, and overall job profitability.
