Job description

Staffworks Group is hiring an experienced Journeyman Plumber for an immediate opening on a new multi-residential construction project in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

$1,000 Sign on bonus

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Plumber with experience inrough plumbing, residential plumbing systems, multi-family construction, underground utility installation, DWV systems, PEX piping, and plumbing code compliance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with construction teams on a fast-paced job site.

Journeyman Plumber Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain rough plumbing systems including water supply and drainage systems
  • Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing codes
  • Perform trenching and route underground plumbing utilities
  • Rough-in3-inch minimum Drain, Waste, and Vent (DWV) stacks
  • Install and work withPEX piping systems and PVC venting
  • Install pipes, valves, fittings, and plumbing components for residential systems
  • Perform underground and overhead plumbing installations
  • Set, seal, and install finish fixtures and unit appliances with precision
  • Use soldering, brazing, threading, pipe cutting, and pipe fitting techniques
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized construction work environment

Qualifications

Required:

  • ValidNew Hampshire Journeyman Plumber License
  • Minimum3–5 years of Journeyman Plumber experience
  • Experience withrough plumbing and multi-family residential construction
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, plumbing codes, blueprint reading, and construction safety practices
  • Skilled with pipe cutters, threaders, benders, soldering equipment, and plumbing tools
