Job Title: Adjunct Instructor of Computer Science
Reporting Structure: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in the College of Natural Sciences, Engineering, and Mathematics
Division: Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Job Summary:
This is a part-time Adjunct teaching position in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
Duties/Responsibilities:
โ€ข Successful candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level.
โ€ข Preferred candidates for the position must hold a Master's degree or a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science. Desired areas of interest are artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile applications development.
Education and Experience:
  • Applicants should have a Master's degree or a PhD in computer science.
  • Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school. Evidence of successful teaching at the college level is required.
  • A record of research and publication is desirable.
  • The candidate must be prepared to affirm and support the Christian and liberal arts mission of Bethune- Cookman University.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
