Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic Clinical Science leadership across hematology (multiple studies, programs, assets) and contribute to disease area strategy using expertise in hematologic cancers, disease biology, and clinically meaningful endpoints.
  • Standardize Clinical Science approaches (medical data review practices, data interpretation principles, deliverables) and align scientific standards across studies while allowing program-specific needs; integrate cross-study/asset insights.
  • Provide senior scientific guidance on clinical data interpretation, issue framing for governance, and support protocol development/amendments (design, endpoints, eligibility, biomarker strategy).
  • Contribute to portfolio/governance reviews and senior leadership communications with sound scientific judgment.
  • Lead people (Directors/Scientists as appropriate) via coaching, mentoring, and clear expectations in a matrix environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Clinical Ops, Regulatory, Biostats/Data Mgmt, Drug Safety/PV, Translational Med, Medical Affairs) and represent Clinical Science in strategic decision forums.
  • Ensure activities meet applicable regulatory requirements and support inspection readiness.
Qualifications (Education/Experience):
  • PhD or PharmD + 7+ years hematological oncology drug development, OR Masterโ€™s in life sciences + 12+ years.
  • Significant oncology clinical development/science experience; demonstrated cross-study Clinical Science leadership; strong oncology trial design/data review and interpretation; matrix cross-functional collaboration; people leadership.
