Adjunct Faculty, Department of Biomedical Engineering

The Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at Rowan University is seeking adjunct faculty with a strong interest and qualified expertise in teaching topics in Biomedical Engineering. 

BME's strengths include relatively small class sizes, strong student-faculty interactions, and a collaborative and supportive working and learning environment. We seek outstanding candidates with a demonstrated commitment to student learning and well-being. We value candidates who promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and an advanced degree (or equivalent experience) in an engineering discipline; prior teaching experience is preferred.

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
