Campus Location: Elder Hall, Marion Campus, Indiana
Summary of Position: Adjunct faculty are essential to providing a quality academic experience for Indiana Wesleyan University students. Adjuncts will employ a range of engaging teaching strategies designed to foster student learning and stimulate class discussion. Applicants must have appropriate academic or professional experience within the given academic discipline, demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning and be able to integrate their Christian faith into the classroom content.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Attend and lead all required class sessions
  • Promptly assess student coursework and submit via Brightspace (the university's learning management system)
  • Coordinate with Division Chair and/or Academic Dean regarding classroom or student issues in a timely manner
  • Teach film/video courses, including Advanced Film and Television, AI and Video

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
