Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
Trusted Tradesmen is seeking an experienced Cabinet Master Builder to join our growing team. We are looking for a highly skilled craftsman who can independently build high-quality custom cabinetry from shop drawings while maintaining exceptional standards of craftsmanship, accuracy, and efficiency.
This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will be able to read plans, build complete cabinetry projects from start to finish, identify potential problems before they occur, and develop practical solutions that keep projects moving forward. Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, elevations, and production documents accurately.
  • Build complete cabinetry projects from raw materials to finished assemblies according to company standards.
  • Review plans before production begins and identify potential design, dimension, or construction issues.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and develop practical solutions to keep projects moving forward.
  • Verify all measurements, materials, hardware, and specifications before construction begins.
  • Assemble cabinets, drawer systems, doors, moldings, and specialty components with precision.
  • Maintain quality control throughout the entire build process.
  • Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate material shortages, design concerns, or production delays promptly.
  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced builders when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work closely with designers, project managers, finishers, and installers to ensure successful project completion.
  • Meet production deadlines while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Five or more years of cabinet building, millwork, woodworking, or related experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to build complete kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, and custom cabinetry from plans.
  • Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, joinery techniques, and woodworking principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and architectural plans.
  • Experience operating woodworking equipment including table saws, panel saws, routers, edge banders, and other shop machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong measuring and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support team success.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
