Social Worker - Inpatient & CPEP- Per Diem

Experience a place where your discipline is immensely respected. Work alongside a team of Social Workers in caring for the psychiatric patient population across our inpatient andcomprehensive psychiatric emergency department programs. You'll coordinate discharge planning and continuum of care for patients and families from across the world. You'll lead clinical debriefing meetings and work with colleagues in need of support after dramatic or stressful events. Here, you'll experience all the reasons why you entered such a rewarding field.

This is a per diem day flex position Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and at CPEP from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm . In the inpatient service, you'll be working weekdays for 7 hour shifts,whereas in our CPEP 12 hour shifts. In addition, some weekends and holidays would be requested on a need basis.

Preferred Criteria

  • Previous experience working with a psychiatric patient population

Required Criteria

  • Master Degree in Social Work

  • Limited Permit (must supply exam date prior to start of employment)

  • Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) by the State of New York

  • Knowledge of Psychosocial Assessment and communication skill
