Scrum Master (Hybrid)
About the Role
As a Scrum Master you will make an impact by driving the successful delivery of fraud prevention, detection, and investigation initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment. You will be a valued member of the delivery team and work collaboratively with Fraud Operations, Compliance, Business stakeholders, and Technology teams to enable agile execution and business outcomes.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Lead Agile delivery for fraud prevention, detection, and investigation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove delivery impediments and proactively manage dependencies across Fraud, Compliance, Business, and Technology teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage priorities, improve transparency, and ensure timely execution of key initiatives.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity, quality, and predictability.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum best practices, and servant leadership methodologies.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on delivering customer and business value.

Work model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring up to 3 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Cleveland - OH.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
  • Proven experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in complex enterprise environments.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience Scrum Master or Agile Delivery
  • Strong expertise in Agile frameworks, Scrum methodologies, and Agile delivery practices.
  • Experience within the Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Financial Crime, Banking, or Financial Services domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and remove impediments while managing cross-functional dependencies.
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience partnering with business and technology teams to deliver large-scale initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

These Will Help You Stand Out
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting fraud analytics, fraud operations, or financial crime transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to fraud and AML.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Proven track record of driving Agile maturity and continuous improvement initiatives across teams.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,337 to $ 141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
