Epidemiologist


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Epidemiologist to join our public health team. In this role, you will play a vital part in investigating, analyzing, and controlling the spread of diseases to improve community health outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

- Design and conduct epidemiological studies to identify disease patterns and risk factors

- Collect, analyze, and interpret health data to inform public health policies and interventions

- Monitor and investigate outbreaks of infectious and chronic diseases

- Collaborate with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations

- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and scientific publications

- Develop and implement strategies for disease prevention and health promotion

- Stay current with emerging research, trends, and best practices in epidemiology


Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred

- Proven experience in epidemiological research and data analysis

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R)

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

- Knowledge of public health principles, disease surveillance, and outbreak investigation

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
