About the Role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Payload System Engineer to support the design, integration, and testing of advanced satellite communications payloads. In this role, you will work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and validate digital telecommunications systems, contribute to subsystem integration and testing, and support the delivery of next-generation satellite payload solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in telecommunications engineering, RF systems, and satellite communications, with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design, integration, and testing of satellite telecommunications payload systems.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of digital communications architectures.
  • Perform subsystem testing, analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, and integration teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Assist in requirements analysis, system verification, and technical documentation.
  • Analyze test results and support continuous improvement of payload performance.
  • Prepare engineering documentation, reports, and technical presentations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in space systems, satellite communications, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Foundational knowledge of:
    • Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
    • RF Systems
    • Telecommunications Architectures
  • Experience with testing satellite subsystems.
