We specialize in delivering innovative engineering and building services solutions for governmental, commercial, institutional, and industrial clients. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our expanding electrical design team.


Position Overview

The Electrical Engineering Manager will oversee the design and development of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, communications, instrumentation, and controls. This leadership role requires a self-driven professional with 10–15 years of experience, a strong technical foundation, and a proven ability to manage teams and projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers.
  • Manage the design of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems.
  • Oversee the preparation of electrical equipment specifications and construction cost estimates.
  • Conduct and review electrical engineering studies and calculations.
  • Develop and review schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, MCC single-line diagrams, and control panel layouts.
  • Ensure quality control through review of shop drawings and vendor documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Interpret P&IDs and general arrangement drawings.
  • Support business development through proposal development, client meetings, and interviews.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s preferred).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
  • 10–15 years of progressive electrical engineering experience, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
