Job description

Our client is a well-established large energy company looking for a driller with geothermal, water, or mud experience.


Mobilize drilling equipment including various applications within an urban and suburban environment.
• Perform geotechnical and environmental drilling methods.
• Install test wells and conduct feasibility studies with the Geothermal team.
• Ensure project safety, organization, and security of all equipment and personnel. Willingness to crosstrain.
• Operate and care for drill rigs, machines, and other equipment as needed.
• Responsible for site safety and the safety of the drilling crew.
• Understand mechanics and requirements for drill sites.
• Hauling, lifting (60-80 lbs.), moving, loading, and digging materials and equipment.
• Requires standing and bending for extended periods of time.
• Mobilization of equipment to job site.
• Comfortability working outdoors in all elements.
• All other duties and projects as assigned.


**High School Diploma required.

• Must have an OSHA 30; SST card and Flagger certification strongly preferred.

• Must have an active Driver’s License with the ability to obtain CDL.

• Prior experience operating drilling equipment is a must.

• Understands and follow utility locate law and compliance procedures, safety protocols, instructions,

and quality regulations.

• 5+ years of construction and/or drilling experience (either NY, NJ, CT, MA Master Drilling license a

plus); IGSHPA certification preferred.

Experience with geothermal heat pumps.

Willing to travel within the Northeast.

Salary $100,000- $115,000
