Job description

Job Summary:
Parsons Corporation is a company that values innovation and growth, seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design and implement security solutions for critical systems supporting the Department of War and United States Army. The role involves collaborating with teams to enhance cybersecurity measures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with standards.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures to protect information systems and networks.
• Implement and monitor security controls, policies, and procedures in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into system designs and operational processes.
• Support the development and execution of test plans, including the evaluation of new technologies and security features.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.
• Must possess a minimum of 3–10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Active TS/SCI is required.
• An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
Preferred:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
