Senior Scrum Master – Banking Domain (10+ Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Scrum Master with 10+ years of IT experience and extensive expertise in Agile project delivery within the Banking domain. The ideal candidate will lead multiple Agile teams, coach stakeholders on Agile best practices, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure the successful delivery of banking products and digital transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.

  • Serve as a servant leader by coaching Scrum teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum practices.

  • Remove impediments and resolve issues impacting team productivity and sprint commitments.

  • Partner with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.

  • Drive Agile transformation and continuous improvement across teams.

  • Track Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, burnup, cycle time, and team capacity.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Business Analysts, DevOps, Architecture, and Business stakeholders.

  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and escalations.

  • Support release planning, PI planning (if applicable), and program-level coordination.

  • Ensure adherence to organizational governance, compliance, and banking regulatory requirements.

  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and high-performing Agile teams.

  • Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to Agile Center of Excellence initiatives.
