ATI Specialty Alloys & Components (SA&C) is seeking a Business Systems Analyst located at our Millersburg, Oregon facility to support and enhance data governance and planning system integrity. As part of the Supply Chain team, this role supports the delivery of planning system outputs that are accurate, stable, and actionable, directly impacting inventory performance, plan reliability, and operational execution. This is an onsite, day shift position working Monday - Friday.
This position is critical to reducing inventory write-offs, improving planning consistency, and supporting the successful implementation and stabilization of enterprise planning systems.
The Business Systems Analyst serves as a techno-functional partner to Operations, responsible for maintaining data integrity, supporting Oracle systems, and driving continuous improvement in planning and operational processes. This role supports and drives efficiency improvements, resolves system and data issues, and enhances overall business performance. This role is expected to develop increasing ownership of planning systems and data governance processes over time.
Data Governance & Master Data Integrity
  • Own governance and validation of planning master data (items, inventory, recipes, planning parameters)
  • Maintain and improve recipes, routes, and formulas to align with production processes
  • Establish data standards, audit processes, and change control to maintain system accuracy
  • Resolve data discrepancies to prevent downstream planning and inventory impacts

Planning System Ownership (ASCP)
  • Support implementation, stabilization, and ongoing management of ASCP, including constrained planning
  • Ensure system configurations align with operational requirements and integrate across systems
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and IT to improve system performance and usability
  • Test and validate system changes to ensure reliable planning outputs

Planning Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Support planning rates review through data analysis aligned to production capability
  • Analyze planning outputs to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Drive initiatives to improve data quality, planning stability, and process efficiency
  • Standardize processes and reporting to improve consistency and decision-making

Inventory Accuracy & Operational Support
  • Support annual Physical Inventory and cycle count improvements
  • Develop processes to monitor and reconcile inventory variances
  • Support optimization of inventory controls (safety stock, reorder points)

User Enablement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Train users on systems, data standards, and planning processes
  • Serve as liaison between Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT
  • Enable effective use of system data for decision-making

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of analytical experience, OR Associate's degree with 4+ years
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas; VBA preferred)
  • Experience with OBI, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Experience with Oracle SQL

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting day-to-day operational business needs
  • Oracle experience preferred, especially OPM (Oracle Process Manufacturing)
