The Senior Manager, Global Payroll, leads the strategic oversight and operational management of payroll functions across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accuracy in payroll tax administration. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives, optimizes data management practices, and enforces operational excellence to support business objectives. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve complex payroll issues, implement master data solutions, and maintain high standards of service delivery. The successful candidate will provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to enhance team performance and uphold organizational policies and ethical standards.

The Global Payroll team ensures accurate and timely processing of weekly and biweekly payrolls while managing exceptions efficiently. Focused on compliance with regulatory requirements, the team optimizes payroll administration through strong data management and operational excellence. It supports precise payroll tax calculations and reporting, driving continuous improvement and innovation in payroll systems. Collaborating across functions, the team upholds organizational standards and delivers reliable payroll services aligned with business goals, playing a vital role in maintaining seamless payroll operations worldwide.
What you'll do:
  • Lead and oversee global payroll administration, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage payroll tax processes, including accurate calculation, reporting, and resolution of complex tax issues.
  • Develop and implement master data management strategies to maintain data integrity and security.
  • Drive operational excellence by analyzing workflows, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring adherence to service standards.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, applying process automation and root cause analysis to enhance payroll operations.
  • Coach and mentor team members on payroll policies, data management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align payroll strategies with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

  • Extensive experience in payroll administration, including oversight of complex payroll systems and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax processes, wage calculations, and tax reporting requirements.
  • Proven expertise in data management, including data integration, architecture, and adherence to privacy and security standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational excellence initiatives, ensuring adherence to service standards and resolving escalated issues.
  • Skilled in continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen to optimize payroll and operational processes.
  • Effective leadership and coaching capabilities to develop team performance and promote accountability.
