About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Associate within the Security Product Data & Configuration team as a part of Corporate Investment Banking Operations. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the accurate and timely setup, maintenance, and exception processing of global product reference data across multiple asset classes, including fixed income, equities, structured products, and listed derivatives

  • Prioritize and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines and escalating issues appropriately when needed

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen controls, reduce risk, and improve client service

  • Maintain and steward Security Master data, ensuring data quality and supporting clients through the investigation and resolution of product lifecycle events

  • Analyze complex data issues raised by internal and external stakeholders, collaborate across teams to identify root causes, and develop both tactical and strategic solutions

  • Research, investigate, and resolve data exceptions identified through control processes, ensuring timely and accurate updates within Security Master and Broadridge systems, including interest/accrual breaks and vendor reconciliation discrepancies

  • Partner with key stakeholders across Front Office Sales & Trading, Syndicate Operations, Middle Office, Clearance, Settlements, Asset Servicing, Market Risk, Technology, Tax Operations, and Finance to ensure operational accuracy, provide subject matter expertise, and support regulatory and business initiatives

  • Adhere to risk management standards by maintaining procedures, executing effective controls, and ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, reference data management, and securities across multiple asset classes

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of ownership

  • Ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels

  • Experience with Security Master data platforms and market data vendors

  • Experience with Broadridge applications, including IMPACT, GLOSS, and BPS

  • Familiarity with third party market data products (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, S&P Global, ICE Data Services, etc..)

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

  • Expected hours are 9AM - 6PM with ability to work additional hours as needed depending on volumes (Will be required to work 11-8 PM shift as needed).
