We're seeking a skilled Data Services / Systems Architect to support critical government and intelligence initiatives by managing data backup and restore procedures, storage resource planning, service level compliance, and continuous improvement of data management services. This role focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient data operations while supporting mission critical environments. Position Overview:ย 

Manages data backup and restore procedures, storage resource planning, service level compliance, and continuous improvement of data management services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the effective implementation of backup and restore procedures and working practices.
  • Review backup and restore reports daily; monitor backup and restore information, standards, procedures, measurements, tools, and technology.
  • Determine reporting outputs and reporting schedules.
  • Work closely with Service Level Management to ensure data management services meet ongoing and future requirements.
  • Estimate overall storage resource and budget requirements for Asset Management as input to the IT plan.
  • Collate and analyze process measurements associated with data management; recommend improvement activities based on service deviations.
REQUIREMENTS:TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required, including additional security screenings
Education and Experience Requirements

Candidates must meet the following minimum education and relevant experience combinations by level:

Entry Level:
  • HS/GED + 6 years experience
  • Associate's + 4 years experience
  • Bachelor's + 2 years experience
  • Master's degree (experience may be substituted as appropriate)
Journeyman Level:
  • HS/GED + 8 years experience
  • Associate's + 6 years experience
  • Bachelor's + 4 years experience
  • Master's + 2 years experience
Senior Level:
  • HS/GED + 10 years experience
