Job Description

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance, and execution of master data transactions within SAP to support daily business operations. This role ensures that material, BOM, routing, and related data are entered and maintained with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness. The position also supports engineering prototype builds by enabling proper system setup and coordinating with lab and material handling teams to ensure parts are available when needed.

  •   Create, update, and maintain master data in SAP, including material masters, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and related structures
  • Process engineering changes (ECNs/ECOs), ensuring accurate and timely system updates with proper revision and effectivity control
  • Review data for accuracy and completeness; identify and correct errors based on established standards and guidelines
  • Support engineering prototype builds by setting up routings, enabling part demand in SAP, and coordinating with lab and material handling teams to ensure timely part availability
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to interpret requests and execute required system updates
  • Maintain documentation and follow established procedures for data entry and change management
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Computer Systems, Information Systems, Business or related field preferred. Candidates with 4+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an Associate degree.  
  • Ability to read engineering prints and interpret requests to translate them into master data in an ERP system
  • Familiarity with routing structures and basic production planning concepts
  • Experience supporting prototype or pre-production builds
  • Familiarity with fluid power components
