• Provide direct clinical services to students in the schools, including individual, family, and group therapies tailored to their unique needs.
• Establish trusting relationships with students, parents, and school personnel to facilitate effective treatment strategies and interventions.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify emotional and behavioral challenges, using evidence-based screening tools to guide treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring continuity of care and robust communication among all parties.
• Facilitate connection to community resources and services that support students’ mental health and educational outcomes, promoting empowerment and engagement in their own recovery processes.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continually improve service delivery and share knowledge about best practices in school-based mental health.
• Adhere to ethical standards and organizational policies while maintaining confidentiality in all interactions with clients.

The focus of this role is on students who may be facing significant challenges associated with major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders. You will engage with a diverse client base, understanding their unique backgrounds, cultural contexts, and experiences to tailor interventions effectively. Your work will have a lasting impact on their educational journey and personal development, ultimately fostering resilience and mental well-being.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; candidates with a Master’s in Social Work and LCSW credentials are preferred.
• Current and valid license to practice in the State of Colorado.
• Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in clinical settings, preferably within schools or community organizations.
• Strong commitment to serving diverse populations and an understanding of the social determinants of health.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients and their families.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and other relevant technologies for service delivery.

• Two or more years of clinical experience in a school or community setting providing therapy and counseling services.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices.
• Knowledge of available community resources and the ability to navigate the mental health system effectively.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
