Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) – Independent Contractor

About the Opportunity

Larksfield Place is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to provide massage therapy services to our residents and staff as an Independent Contractor.

This opportunity offers flexibility and autonomy while allowing you to build meaningful relationships within a premier senior living community focused on wellness and exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional massage therapy services to residents and staff
  • Develop and maintain your own appointment scheduling process
  • Maintain all required supplies and equipment, including:
    • Massage table/chair
    • Linens
    • Oils/products
    • Other treatment supplies
  • Maintain accurate service records and billing documentation
  • Deliver services with professionalism, compassion, and respect for resident dignity and privacy
  • Follow all required HIPAA, compliance, infection control, and resident safety standards
Qualifications
  • Active Kansas Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) license required
  • Experience in multiple massage modalities preferred:
    • Swedish
    • Deep Tissue
    • Reflexology
    • Therapeutic Massage
    • Chair Massage
  • Experience working with older adults or geriatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage scheduling autonomously
  • Professional liability insurance required
Contractor Requirements

Prior to beginning services, contractor must provide:

  • Completed W-9
  • Proof of active LMT license
  • Background check clearance
  • TB test documentation
  • Completion of required compliance trainings
Schedule
  • Flexible scheduling
  • No required set hours
  • Services scheduled directly between therapist and residents/staff
