Our client's business is comprised of the Jordan Valve, Low Flow, Steriflow, Steriflow Food & Beverage, Marwin, Hex, and Bestobell product lines. The CNC Machinist we are looking for will have experience with lathes, vertical mills or mill-turn machines. We are looking for folks with 3,4 or 5 axis machine experience. Our client has Mazak, Okuma and Smart machines you will report directly to the Production Manager.The CNC Machinist will be responsible for:Machine Operation/production (Mazak, Okuma or Smart CNC Machines)Load/unload parts within qualified time givenMust be able to distinguish and identify proper tooling/collects/fixtures and jaws for efficient set-upInspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability.Observes machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and dial caliper. Adjust machine to control part process.Post edits CNC program to fine tune process for optimum performance with assistance of a CNC Op/Programmer, lead person or programmer; submit changes to programmerAble to perform "first-piece" in-process inspection Machine set upContinuous improvement initiativesThis job description is not intended to be all inclusive and if you join our client's team, you will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and other management as required.Qualifications Include: High school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of CNC machining experience for entry level $22.00 - 25.005+ years of CNC machining for experienced level $28.00 - 32.00General PC knowledge Knowledge of AS400 systemKnowledge of CNC Turning/Mill Machine. lathe or MillsCapable of handling 50 lb. to 200 lb. valve bodies with the assistance of hand trucks, lifts, conveyors, and hoists. The ability to stand for long periods up to eight or more hours at a time.Ability to work weekends and overtime when scheduled.We are looking for talented CNC Machinist for our client that have a strong work ethic, are calm and resilient, Organized and detail-oriented, are proactive, motivated, and always committed to continuous improvement and solving problems.
