Position Overview

The Mind Marvel Institute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to deliver high-quality mental health services to individuals, couples, and families, fostering healing and growth. Your work will directly contribute to the emotional well-being of our diverse clientele as you implement therapeutic interventions and personalized treatment plans.

About the Organization

The Mind Marvel Institute is a leading family counseling center located in New Castle, Colorado, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a variety of mental health conditions. Our commitment to evidence-based practices ensures that our clients receive tailored therapy aimed at addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma-related challenges. We strive to create an inclusive and nurturing environment, promoting resilience and personal growth for clients from all walks of life.

Work Environment

As a remote position within a community health clinic setting, you will have the flexibility to operate from your chosen location while remaining fully integrated into our collaborative team culture. This role allows you to maintain a work-life balance while providing therapeutic support to clients who often have busy schedules. While you will primarily work remotely, occasional in-person team meetings and training sessions may occur to enhance professional development and team cohesion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, strengths, and available resources.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that articulate clear therapeutic goals and evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
  • Engage in collaborative care by working alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive support for clients.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and risk assessments, creating safety plans as needed to ensure the well-being of clients in acute distress.
  • Document treatment progress and maintain accurate client records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
  • Lead psychoeducation workshops, support groups, and therapeutic classes to foster community engagement and enhance clients’ therapeutic experiences.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients encompass a wide range of backgrounds, including individuals facing mental health challenges, couples navigating relational issues, and families in crisis. You will have the opportunity to work with clients of varying ages and demographics, providing you with a rich tapestry of experiences and engagement opportunities to apply your knowledge and therapeutic skills.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A deep understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment strategies pertinent to family dynamics.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a supportive atmosphere for client interaction.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is preferred, candidates with significant internship or clinical experience and knowledge of therapeutic techniques will also be considered. Familiarity with various assessment tools and electronic health record systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with potential performance-based bonuses that recognize and reward your dedication and contributions. The benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive health insurance plans, covering medical, dental, and vision care.
  • Retirement savings plans with employer match to secure your financial future.
  • Generous paid time off policies, ensuring you take care of your personal needs, including holiday, vacation, and personal days.
  • Access to continuing education programs, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your clinical skills and career development.
  • Liability insurance coverage tailored for mental health professionals.
Career Growth Opportunities

At the Mind Marvel Institute, we believe in nurturing talent and fostering professional development. As part of our team, you will have access to mentorship opportunities, advanced training, and pathways to leadership roles within the organization, allowing you to grow your career in a supportive environment.

Why Join Our Team

By joining the Mind Marvel Institute, you become part of a mission-driven team that is passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of clients seeking mental health support. We value your expertise and commitment to excellence in therapy and provide a welcoming environment that promotes both personal and professional growth.
