Job description

Client is looking for a solution architect with a solid understanding of the MarTech ecosystem, not an IT generalist with peripheral marketing experience.

  • The role encompasses both architecture design (data flows, integrations, target technologies) and providing expert guidance to business teams and vendors. This requires the ability to navigate seamlessly between the technical and business layers without compromising precision in either.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud (AEP, CDP, AJO) or a Salesforce equivalent is the strongest credibility marker for this role: a candidate without direct experience on these platforms will be difficult to advocate for.
  • The environment is agile, multi-team (marketing, data, security, compliance, IT), and the architect will be expected to actively contribute to the product backlog, requiring a profile comfortable with a Scrum or SAFe framework, not just a traditional project management approach.
  • Knowledge of the insurance sector is a significant asset, as CLIENT was formed from the merger of La Capitale and SSQ, with an enterprise architecture currently being consolidated.
Responsibilities:

  • Design, document, and develop the MarTech solutions architecture, including functional and technical requirements, target architecture, data flows, integrations, reusable components, and artificial intelligence features.
  • Ensure the alignment of MarTech solutions with CLIENTS enterprise architecture guidelines, security standards, data governance, privacy policies, and integration principles.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and integration of MarTech platforms, including CDP, CJO, marketing automation, audience management, marketing analytics, and complementary tools.
  • Act as a MarTech solutions expert, including liaising with vendors, monitoring features, analyzing available capabilities, and supporting teams in their use.
  • Contribute to the design of customer data flows between MarTech solutions and the organization's systems, including CRM, digital platforms, transactional systems, data warehouses or data lakes, analytical tools, integration platforms, and the AWS environment.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer experience, data, security, compliance, and IT teams to translate business needs into concrete, scalable, and actionable technological solutions.
  • Participate in the various delivery phases impacting MarTech solutions, including ideation, scoping, design, configuration, testing, transition, and post-implementation activities.
  • In collaboration with the Product Manager, Scrum Master, domain experts, and other stakeholders, contribute to defining user stories, populating the product backlog, and participating in prioritization exercises.
  • Support business, development, data, security, operations, project, and vendor teams in resolving complex issues and challenges related to MarTech solutions.
  • Participate in communities of practice, architecture committees, and continuous improvement activities to evolve CLIEMT'S MarTech processes, architecture patterns, and practices.
