Job description

We are seeking a local candidate for this role! This position offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with availability to work from home on Monday and Friday.

Compensation $140-$160k with annual bonus opportunity and other perks

Bullion International Group (B.I.G.) is the parent company behind a family of industry-leading precious metals and fintech brands, including APMEX — a top 100 e-retailer in the nation — and OneGold, a digital platform for buying, storing, and transacting in physical precious metals. Headquartered in downtown Oklahoma City for over 25 years, B.I.G. offers a unique balance of an established corporate culture and the opportunity to build new products in the broader fintech space.

Across our platforms we serve hundreds of thousands of purchasing customers and millions of active users, and we are building the next generation of products that make precious metals a usable, everyday asset.

We are seeking:

The Director, Digital Marketing leads B.I.G.’s digital marketing engine — performance and paid media, retention and lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, and analytics — across our portfolio of retail and wholesale brands and products. As the leader of a shared-service team, you own the strategies and systems that generate demand for the business.

You will set the digital strategy, own the budget and its return, and partner with brand, creative, content, and business line owners to turn goals into measurable growth. You will also build and lead a team of managers and specialists and modernize how the function works — including making it AI-forward. This role reports to the VP, Marketing.

YOUR IMPACT

Performance & Paid Media

  • Own strategy and execution across all paid channels — paid search, shopping, paid social, display and retargeting, programmatic prospecting, and affiliate partnerships — to drive new-customer acquisition and revenue across B.I.G. brands and products.

  • Own the digital marketing budget and its allocation, maximizing ROAS and holding channels and agencies accountable to measurable outcomes.

  • Direct large-scale campaigns from strategy through execution, testing, and reporting; oversee A/B and multivariate experimentation to refine targeting, creative, and bidding.

  • Manage agency and consultant relationships, providing clear direction and holding them accountable to results.

Retention, Lifecycle & Loyalty

  • Own retention and lifecycle marketing (email, SMS, push, and onboarding) to grow engagement, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value.

  • Partner with the product lines — including Card Programs & Partnerships — on cross-sell, activation, and lifecycle programs.

  • Own the Bullion Club loyalty program — strategy, member growth, engagement, and measurable program ROI.

Marketing Operations & Analytics

  • Own the martech stack, campaign operations, and the marketing calendar; ensure clean data, sound attribution, and a single source of truth for performance.

  • Deliver clear, actionable reporting and insights to leadership using analytics and BI tools, and monitor competitive activity to adjust plans.

  • Champion AI across the function to accelerate campaign development, analysis, and reporting, and build repeatable AI-enabled workflows.

Team & Leadership

  • Build and lead the Digital Marketing team — including the Performance Marketing and Marketing Operations managers and their teams — attracting, developing, and retaining talent.

  • Operate as a shared-service partner to brand, creative, content, and the business lines; set goals, operating cadence, and standards of performance.

  • Partner with the Sales and Customer Service teams to increase volume and deliver an excellent customer experience.

  • Own forecasting and budgeting for the function.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

You are succeeding in this role when:

  • New-customer acquisition and revenue grow efficiently across B.I.G. brands, with clear ROAS improvement against baseline.

  • A modern, well-integrated martech stack and trustworthy attribution and reporting are in place and relied on by leadership.

  • A retention and lifecycle program measurably lifts engagement, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value.

  • The product lines — including Card Programs & Partnerships — get the demand and campaign support they need, on time and at quality.

  • A high-performing digital marketing team is built, developed, and retained, with clear ownership and cadence.

  • Repeatable AI-enabled workflows measurably increase the team’s speed and output.

  • Digital marketing is established as a reliable growth engine for the company.

EXPERIENCE

  • A proven track record driving profitable, data-driven growth across paid and lifecycle channels.

  • Deep expertise across the paid media ecosystem (search, shopping, social, display, programmatic, affiliate) and marketing analytics.

  • Strong command of martech, attribution, and reporting; comfortable owning KPIs and turning data into decisions.

  • Experience leading and developing managers and specialists.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to operate effectively as a shared-service partner.

  • Fluency with AI tools and a commitment to building an AI-forward function.
