Job description

Marshall's Inside Connections, a leader in low voltage audio/video and burglar alarm installation, is seeking an experienced Audio/Video/Alarm Installer/Technician to help serve our residential and commercial customers in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. Our business is growing rapidly, and we have an immediate need for experienced technicians.
  • Experience in the low voltage Audio/Video/Security industry.
  • Experience with Honeywell Vista and Alarm.com.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of network design and IP Communications.
  • Ability to run and terminate RG-6 and Category 6 cables.
  • Basic knowledge of installation and wiring of audio/video and alarm system devices.
  • Working knowledge of system layout and commissioning of a new system.
  • Ability to interact with designers, architects and other industry professionals.
  • Ability to read construction drawings / blue prints.
  • Excellent communication skills (all formats) which includes establishing positive relationships with customers.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • High School Diploma or higher.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Possess your own basic hand tools.
