Marsh & McLennan Shared Services LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the Cary, NC office (A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.):
Lead IT Delivery Manager
We will count on you to:
Lead the implementation and delivery of products in agile methodology, manage the scope of work, objectives, timelines, quality of deliverables, and other project management activities. Develop strategic business plans and consult on best practices. Build a support model to ensure uninterrupted service. Manage escalated client delivery issues and devise clear action plans for resolution. Facilitate effective communication through weekly and monthly status reporting to ensure key stakeholders and senior executives have the most up-to-date status on work. Monitor and report on project issues and risks. Develop project plans, roadmaps, and release calendar for all phases of the project and associated deliverables. Review scope of work including management of project budget(s) to meet financial and company goals, proactively ensuring adherence to change control processes and ongoing capacity planning. Assist in the gathering of business requirements, troubleshoot issues, work with architects for building Architecture Design Document and High Level Document, and drive resolution. Review and ensure adequate internal and external resources are available to meet project deliverables and milestones. Manage relationships with contractors and third-party vendors to ensure services are delivered on time, at a reasonable cost, and with the required quality standards.
What you need to have:
Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of experience must include: IT Project Management; Full life cycle delivery using Agile methodology and hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching internal and external colleagues in Agile functionality; Updating project tracking tools including dollar forecasting, budgeting, staffing profiles, and project status; Leading business operations and multiple IT teams; Creating project status and reporting Dashboards utilizing MS PowerPoint, Data and Budget Management in MS Excel, and Vendor Management via MS Word.
