Job description

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR (STARLINK AVIATION)
The Production Coordinator plays a vital role within SpaceX's manufacturing and production teams. Production Coordinators support all production leadership staff to ensure the on-time delivery of components and assemblies for Starlink Aviation, Starlink Ground Mobility, and other Starlink Enterprise applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor, track, and transport parts through production flows, including coordination across receiving, stock rooms, purchasing, and work centers.
  • Ensure proper handling per SpaceX specifications and manage off-site processing for timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure MRP/ERP data remains accurate and up to date.
  • Resolve system data inaccuracies to avoid disruptions in demand, scheduling, or operations, while managing material certifications to prevent the use of uncertified items.
  • Support inventory processes such as returns and purges, create purchase requisitions as needed, and organize physical and electronic libraries for production tooling and calibration.
  • Partner with supervisors to complete metric-driven actions, generate reports on needs, deliverables, and constraints, provide weekly status updates to leadership, and assist with action items.
  • Innovate workflow staging to enhance logistics efficiency. Support productivity projects and manage work orders in assigned production cells.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 1+ years of coordination, inventory or scheduling experience in a manufacturing or administrative environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 3+ years of experience handling parts in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments.
  • Strong computer skills, familiar with the full suite of MS Office products.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in organizing files and documents.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
  • SQL and Tableau experience.
  • APICS certification.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends as needed.
    • Estimated shift hours: 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM.
  • Able to stand for extended periods - 8 hours minimum.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Production Coordinator/Level 1: $22.00 - $25.00/hour
Production Coordinator/Level 2: $24.50 - $29.00/hour
Production Coordinator/Level 3: $27.00 - $32.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other discounts and perks. You may also accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation and will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year. Non-exempt Washington employees are eligible for sick leave in accordance with Washington's Sick Leave policies.
