This position involves conducting thorough inspections of guest rooms and suites to verify that they are impeccably maintained and fully equipped according to hotel policies. The inspector identifies any maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns, or missing amenities and communicates these findings promptly to the appropriate departments for resolution. By maintaining consistent quality control, the Guest Room Inspector directly contributes to enhancing guest satisfaction and upholding the hotel's reputation. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or quality control preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hotel or resort environment.
  • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) or inspection software.
  • Certification in hospitality quality assurance or related fields.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with housekeeping supervisors to ensure rooms are prepared and ready for guest occupancy.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and follow up on corrective actions to guarantee continuous quality improvement.

Skills:

The Guest Room Inspector utilizes keen observational skills daily to identify any deviations from established cleanliness and maintenance standards.
