Job Summary

TownePlace Suites by Marriott is seeking a reliable and motivated Houseman to support our housekeeping and operations teams. This full-time position is essential to keeping our hotel clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the day. As a Houseman, you’ll work behind the scenes to ensure our team has what they need to deliver a consistently excellent guest experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining a clean environment, and understands the importance of teamwork in a hotel setting.
Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of public areas, including lobby, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and guest common areas
  • Assist housekeeping by delivering linens, towels, and supplies to floors as needed
  • Remove trash and manage waste areas in a clean and orderly manner
  • Perform light cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, spot-cleaning, and restroom upkeep
  • Support laundry operations as needed, including transporting clean and soiled linens
  • Help with room turnover support during busy periods
  • Maintain storage areas, closets, and supply rooms in an organized manner
  • Identify and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness issues promptly
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and Marriott brand standards
  • Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests when encountered
Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred (not required)
