Job description

Job Description
Marriott International is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Vendor Management & SCOUT, to join our Procurement Operations team. Procurement Operations is responsible for leading core functions such as governance, vendor support, technology, reporting, and management of revenues and receivables.
The Senior Manager is responsible for the oversight of strategic vendor relationships and related programs. The role manages key strategic programs including critical technology procurement and asset management and SLA monitoring. In addition, the Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring SCOUT compliance with critical technology vendors.
Required Qualifications
  • 4- year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in related field appropriate to work position
  • 5+ years of program management and compliance management experience
  • Experience working in procurement or shared services

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day oversight and support of critical technology provider programs including technology procurement and asset management
  • Manage key vendor relationships including oversight of SLA monitoring and overall performance
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic vendors
  • Drive program improvement to strategic technology programs through the implementation of automation and new process efficiencies
  • Partner with compliance teams in managing SCOUT compliance procurement responsibilities including ongoing audits of controls
  • Manage resources that provide day-to-day support of key programs
