High Point Family and Marriage Counseling is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. As an LMFT, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to determine the therapy needs of clients and their families.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and reflect their cultural identities.
• Providing bilingual therapy services in both Spanish and English, adapting approaches as necessary to cater to cultural nuances.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records within our electronic health record (EHR) system and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Engaging in regular supervision and professional development to expand upon therapeutic techniques and specializations.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams as necessary to provide comprehensive care to clients.
• Participating in treatment team meetings and case consultations to share insights and improve client outcomes.

Our practice provides services to a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. You will work with families addressing issues such as trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ concerns, and perinatal mental health. Your sensitivity to cultural and individual needs will greatly enhance our clients’ therapy experiences.

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a closely related field from an accredited graduate program.
• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with no restrictions on practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on family therapy and child and adolescent counseling.
• A commitment to respecting the cultural backgrounds and personal values of each client and family.
• Willingness to work as an in-network provider for at least one insurance panel.
• Proficient in EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and telehealth technologies.
• A valid driver’s license, car insurance, and the ability to travel as necessary for in-person sessions.
• Availability to work at least two evenings and one weekend day each week, adhering to consistent attendance expectations.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, or perinatal mental health.
• Training in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, EMDR, or other evidence-based practices.
• Experience facilitating both group and individual therapy sessions.
