Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual therapy sessions aimed at addressing the unique mental health needs of clients, employing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy.
- Facilitate couples and family therapy sessions to promote healthy communication and conflict resolution strategies among partners and family members.
- Assess clients’ mental health status through thorough evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans that consider their specific challenges and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their personal growth objectives.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and wellness coaches, to provide comprehensive care and wrap-around services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with state and organizational guidelines.
This role focuses on a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. We serve clients from various backgrounds and age groups, providing culturally sensitive services that respect their individual experiences.
Qualifications- A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program is mandatory.
- Valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credentials in the state of Oregon are required for this position.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques suitable for individual, couples, and family therapy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients and documentation of sessions.
- Ability to establish rapport with clients, exhibiting strong empathy and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a remote therapeutic setting is highly advantageous.
- Additional certifications or training in specialized therapeutic modalities will be considered a plus.
- A proven track record of successful client outcomes and positive relationships with prior clients is preferred.
