Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and Educate: Welcome each customer as they enter, guide them through product selections, answer questions, and provide helpful insights.
  • Drive Sales and Build Relationships: Proactively navigate sales, identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, and strive to meet average order goals per shift.
  • Customer-Focused Fulfillment: Process in-store and online orders with accuracy, ensuring order details are verified and completed swiftly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Check and verify each customer’s ID and follow all Cannabis Compliance Board and Thrive policies to uphold a safe, compliant retail environment.
  • Facilitate Smooth Operations: Communicate effectively with team members to manage customer flow, optimize store efficiency, and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain High Standards: Keep the store and facility areas clean, organized, and inviting, while adhering to all company protocols for a secure, customer-oriented environment.
  • Stay Informed and Engaged: Keep up-to-date on product knowledge, cannabis regulations, and Thrive’s current inventory to provide the best service possible.

Qualifications:

  • Customer-First Mentality: Excellent customer service skills, a warm attitude, and a commitment to creating positive interactions with every visitor.
  • High Energy and Adaptability: Able to excel in a fast-paced retail environment and adjust to the dynamic needs of a 24/7 operation, including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts as business requires.
  • Product Enthusiasm: Genuine interest in cannabis and a commitment to learning about products in the ever-evolving industry.
  • Cannabis Enthusiast: Knowledge of cannabis products or a willingness to learn; staying up-to-date on product offerings excites you.
  • Attention to Detail: High standards in order accuracy, compliance, and customer service; able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating a Mac-based POS system and communicating with customers via phone as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Comfortable standing, sitting, or bending for extended periods
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs as required
  • Capable of working on your feet for shifts up to 10 hours

Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 21+
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 2+ years in retail sales preferred
  • Ability to obtain necessary state and city work cards

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Wage: Starting at $14.00 per hour, with bonus opportunities
