Job Description
Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Senior Manager of Marketing Technology & Innovation to lead the evolution of the firm's marketing and business development technology ecosystem. This individual will join a growing Strategy & Marketing team for one of the world's foremost law firms, operating at the intersection of technology innovation, capital and government.
This role moves beyond pure system administration. It is a high-impact opportunity responsible for modernizing and optimizing the firm's business development and marketing technology stack, advancing AI and automation initiatives, strengthening data governance, and enhancing client experience across touchpoints. The ideal candidate brings deep technology expertise within a professional services environment and a proven ability to translate marketing strategy into scalable, enterprise-wide solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead strategy and optimization of the firm's marketing technology stack, ensuring existing tools are leveraged while evaluating new ones for potential adoption.
  • Plan and implement AI and automation initiatives that accelerate department response times, improve client experience, and surface new business opportunities faster.
  • Maximize existing marketing technology tools, advancing marketing automation, CMS integration, and data governance, including innovation pilots and product launches
  • Upskill the Strategy & Marketing team to maximize technology adoption
  • Oversee technical training, change management, and vendor partnerships
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 7+ years of marketing technology experience
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred
  • Expertise in CRM, automation platforms, analytics, and system integration
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives

The expected salary range for this position is $150k - $180k. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skill set, and geographic location.
