Job Overview

The Client Enablement/Solutions Architecture role with a Trading focus at Charles River Development is an active, hands‑on role centered on designing and developing product solutions. The professional will provide business leadership, coordinate major product initiatives across departments, and oversee design, integration patterns, and implementation of new and existing components in collaboration with product management. This role also serves as an internal advocate for the product area, supporting sales efforts, implementation plans, and overall business development. The job is located in Burlington, Massachusetts, USA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shaping and implementing the firm's strategic vision regarding Trading capabilities and solutions, both through organic growth and partnerships.
  • Providing business leadership, offering design and solution feedback, and coordinating efforts across product and development teams.
  • Contributing to the short- and long-term product roadmap for enhancements.
  • Building relationships as a primary client contact for gathering feedback and evaluating solutions.
  • Assessing potential partnerships and assisting in managing partner relationships within the Alpha Ecosystem.
  • Collaborating with technical and development counterparts to maximize team efficiency and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinating engagement among Client Management, Sales, Professional Services, Support, and internal stakeholders to boost client satisfaction and drive product adoption.
  • Working closely with Marketing and Product Strategy to ensure the product vision is clearly communicated and understood.
  • Leading medium to large initiatives from inception through completion.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Over 5 years in product management leadership, focusing on product planning and execution.
  • Extensive financial services experience, especially in Trading technology with exposure to order and execution management across all asset classes.
  • Hands‑on Trading experience: order creation, order management, execution management, FIX messaging, post‑trade, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills: adept at interpreting client needs and designing solutions.
  • Familiar with asset class behavior across equities, fixed income, FX, OTC securities, private assets, and traditional buy‑side asset types.
  • Understanding of order management, compliance, data, and portfolio management.
  • Knowledgeable about Agile Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, organization, team planning, and mobilization abilities.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or Business Degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics or related).
  • Advanced degree preferred – MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA, CIPM).
  • Prior experience with Charles River IMS or another market‑leading OEMS.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $110,000 – $188,750 Annual (primary location).
