Position Summary

The Marketing Manager supports Central New Mexico Community College by developing, producing, and coordinating comprehensive marketing campaigns under the supervision of the Director of Marketing. This role manages day-to-day project execution, collaborates with internal partners, and ensures consistent brand representation and marketing messages across all channels. The position contributes to engaging CNM's key audiences and advancing its strategic initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports the planning, development, and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, web, social, and paid media channels.
  • Coordinates project timelines, deliverables, and creative assets to ensure on-time, on-brand execution.
  • Collaborates with academic schools, departments, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and translate needs into effective marketing strategies.
  • Oversees production of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, ads, website updates, email campaigns, and social content.
  • Assists with media placement, vendor coordination, and budget tracking for assigned campaigns.
  • Conducts market, audience, and competitor research to inform campaign strategy and messaging.
  • Reviews and edits content for accuracy, clarity, brand standards, and accessibility compliance.
  • Uses analytics tools to track campaign performance, prepare reports, and recommend optimizations.
  • Maintains organized project files, creative assets, and documentation for campaigns and initiatives.
  • Supports crisis communications and time-sensitive messaging efforts as directed.
  • Ensures consistent representation of CNM's brand identity across all communication channels.
  • Participates in strategic planning meetings and contributes ideas to improve marketing processes and outcomes
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • AND
    • Three (3) years of directly related marketing, communications, or project management experience.
  • Experience coordinating multi-channel marketing projects and working with creative teams.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
