This position serves as an employee resource for all HR needs and works collaboratively with our internal teams. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years prior experience in Human Resources, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures, including current labor laws and technical recruiting. We are seeking someone who connects with people, is organized and has a detail-oriented mindset. Looking for successful experience with recruitment of technical mid/senior/executive level candidates - including programmers, data scientists, data analysts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Source, screen and interview candidates to identify the best fit for various technical and non-technical roles.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to resolve issues effectively.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Understanding, assisting and maintaining compliance of legal component of HR (labor laws compliance, sponsorship/immigration, FMLA, Paid Leave, Background checks, Title VII, audits prep, unemployment, terminations)
  • Contribute to HR Projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a recruiter and HR generalist in a tech or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.

$60,000 - $70,000 a year
The base pay range provided serves as a general guideline. The final annual salary offered to the selected candidate will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, the scope and responsibilities of the role
