Reports To: Senior Account Rep.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM on-site, with occasional evening events as business needs required.Position SummaryThe Marketing Assistant supports the company’s marketing and business development efforts through social media, email marketing, community outreach, and event coordination. This role is well suited for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys building professional relationships and helping execute marketing initiatives that support business growth.
The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating professionally across a variety of platforms, and representing the company at networking and community events.Essential ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Marketing
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other applicable social media platforms.
  • Create graphics and marketing materials using Canva and similar design tools.
  • Monitor social media comments, messages, and engagement and escalate inquiries as appropriate.
  • Promote upcoming events, company announcements, community involvement, and other approved content.
  • Assist with maintaining a consistent and professional brand presence across social media channels.
Email Marketing & Communications
  • Assist with creating flyers, announcements, and other marketing materials using Canva.
  • Draft and distribute reminder, promotional, and follow-up emails as directed.
  • Maintain and update email distribution lists to support accurate and effective communications.
  • Assist with other marketing communications and outreach initiatives as needed.
Business Development & Community Outreach
  • Research networking opportunities, community events, and other activities that may support business development.
  • Assist with sponsorships, partnerships, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Assist with Realtor and lender outreach programs and related communications.
  • Attend broker opens, networking events, happy hours, and company events as needed.
  • Assist with event logistics, including setup, registration/check-in, materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Help maintain positive and professional relationships with community partners, referral sources, and other external contacts.
General Responsibilities
  • Support the marketing team with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain organized marketing materials, contact lists, and related resources.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and ensure marketing materials and communications are accurate and timely.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and exercise sound judgment when communicating on behalf of the company.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or coursework in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is a plus.
